Cēsu bibliotēkas tēls pilsētas laikrakstos, 1919 - 2008

Abstract

Cēsu pilsētā gan 20., gan 21.gadsimtā ir eksistējuši dažādi sabiedrības slāņi ar atšķirīgiem uzskatiem un viedokļiem. Savs viedoklis sabiedrībā ir arī par jebkuras iestādes vai organizācijas, tai skaitā bibliotēkas, darbību, un nereti tas tiek pausts ar vietējo laikrakstu starpniecību, tādējādi veidojot iestādes publisko tēlu. Bakalaura darbā „Cēsu bibliotēkas tēls pilsētas laikrakstos, 1919. – 2008.” ir izpētīts Cēsu bibliotēkas publiskais tēls, tā attīstība kopš bibliotēkas dibināšanas. Publiskā tēla analīze veikta, pētot šī laikposma pilsētas laikrakstos atrodamās publikācijas par bibliotēku un tās personālu. Publikācijas analizētas, balstoties uz sabiedrisko attiecību teoriju un izmantojot kontentanalīzes metodi.

There was a various strata of society with different opinions and points of view in Cesis in the 20th and 21st centuries. The society forms its own opinion about the activities of any institution or organization, including the library, and often it is voiced with the help of the local newspapers, thus forming the public image of the organization. The Bachelor thesis “Image of Cesis library in the city periodicals, 1919. - 2008“ researches the public image of Cesis library, its development since the foundation of the library. The analysis of the thesis was done, by examining the publications about the library and its staff found in the city’s newspapers of the above mentioned time period. The publications are analyzed, based on the theory of public relations and using the method of contentanalysis.
