Jauno tehnoloģiju ietekme uz sabiedriskajiem medijiem un to funkcijām: BBC, LTV1 un LR1 salīdzinājums

Abstract

Šī darba temats ir „Jauno tehnoloģiju ietekme uz sabiedriskajiem medijiem un to funkcijām: BBC, LTV1 un LR1 salīdzinājums”. Darba problēmu raksturo tas, kā jaunās komunikācijas formas (internets, sociālie portāli, mobilie telefoni) ir ietekmējuši sabiedrisko mediju darbību un funkciju īstenošanu. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, aprakstīt un analizēt šo procesu. Darbs sastāv no četrām nodaļām. Pirmajā tiek sniegts teorētisks ieskats sabiedrisko mediju funkcijās un veidā, kā jaunās tehnoloģijas ir ietekmējušas mediju darba vidi, saturu un sabiedrisko mediju pamatprincipu īstenošanu. Otrajā nodaļā ir izskaidrota pētījuma metodoloģija, pamatojot aptauju un daļēji strukturēto interviju pielietojumu. Trešajā nodaļā tiek aprakstīti pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti, bet pēdējā, ceturtajā nodaļā, sniegta pētījuma analīze. Rezultāti apliecina, ka jauno tehnoloģiju lietojums ir ietekmējis sabiedrisko mediju darba vidi un funkciju īstenošanu, bet process no sabiedrības un ekspertu puses tiek vērtēts neviennozīmīgi. The title of the Bachelor paper is „The impact of new technologies to public service broadcasters and their functions: comparative analyses of LTV1, LR1 and BBC.” The issue of the present study is based on how new communication forms (internet, social networks, mobile technologies) have affected the work and realization of functions of public service broadcasters. The aim of this research is to clarify, describe and analyse this process. The paper consists of four parts. The first part examines the functions of public service broadcasting and the way, how new technologies have affected the environment of media work, content and fulfillment of public service media mission. The second part gives a methodological description, explaining the use of research surveys and semi-structured interviews. Third part explains the results of research, but analyse of research is given in the last part. Research shows that the use of new technologies has affected the environment of media work and realization of functions, but the process is estimated differently from the views of experts and society.
