Bakalaura darba temats ir „Ziņu aģentūru LETA un BNS reputācija: lietotāju aspekts”. Tā kā ziņu aģentūras Latvijā ir tikai divas, kā rezultātā konkurence šajā tirgū ir salīdzinoši neliela, un abu aģentūru vēsture, īpašnieku struktūra un produktu klāsts ir atšķirīgi, tad darba gaitā tika pētīta abu Latvijas ziņu aģentūru reputācija un ti ietekmējošie faktori aģentūru lietotāju vērtējumā.
Par darba teorētisko pamatu tika izmantoti Čārlza Fombruna, Džo Markoni un citu pētnieku noteiktie reputāciju ietekmējošie un veidojošie faktori, kas BNS un LETA gadījumā tika pētīti un apzināti daļēji strukturētajās intervijās ar aģentūru produktu lietotājiem.
Pētījuma mērķis bija salīdzināt BNS un LETA reputāciju, kā arī tās veidošanās iemeslus. Tā gaitā tika secināts, ka nevienai no aģentūrām nav izteikti labāka reputācija, lai gan atšķiras ziņu un citu produktu kvalitātes, operativitātes un precizitātes novērtējums.
Darbā raksturota korporatīvā reputācija un tās veidošanās iemesli, atspoguļota LETA un BNS vēsture, ziņu aģentūru reputācija to redakciju vadītāju skatījumā, kā arī raksturota to reputācija lietotāju skatījumā. The topic of the research is “Reputation of the news agencies LETA and BNS: the aspect of consumers”.
As in Latvia there are only two news agencies the competition in this market is cooperatively small. The history, the structure of owners and the products of the both enterprises are different therefore during the research the reputation by the estimation of the consumers was studied.
The theoretical bases of the work are the studies of Charles Fombrun, Joe Marconi and other scholars. The reputation of LETA and BNS was researched by guide-based interviews with the consumers of the agencies.
The aim of the work was to compare the reputation of LETA and BNS and the reasons of forming it. During the research it was concluded that none of the agencies has a largely better reputation although the evaluation of the quality, speed and accuracy differed.
In the work the corporative reputation and the reasons of its forming have been characterized, the history of LETA and BNS depicted, the reputation of both agencies is described by its consumers and editors.
