Bērnu bibliotēku lietotāju apmācības vajadzības

Abstract

Zināšanu sabiedrības tendences un informācijas tehnoloģiju iekļaušana visās dzīves jomās prasa no cilvēkiem informācijpratības un mācīšanās prasmju apguvi. Apzinoties informācijpratības nozīmi izglītībā, darbā un personīgajā dzīvē, cilvēks spēs pilnveidot savas zināšanas un attīstīt savu pieredzi. Maģistra darba galvenā uzmanība ir pievērsta bērnu bibliotēku lietotāju apmācības vajadzībām, lai nodrošinātu bērnu un jauniešu iekļaušanos mūžizglītībā un palīdzētu viņiem sniegt savu ieguldījumu modernajā zināšanu sabiedrībā. Kā galvenie informācijpratības apmācības organizētāji ir aplūkoti bērnu bibliotēku darbinieki un informācijas tehnoloģiju speciālisti. Pētījumā tika konstatēts, ka skolēni izrāda gatavību iesaistīties informācijpratības apgūšanā, bet bibliotekāri spēj nodrošināt bērnu bibliotēku lietotāju kvalitatīvu apmācību.

The tendencies of the knowledge society and inclusion of information technology in all areas of life inquire people to acquire the information literacy and learning skills. Being aware of the significance of information literacy in education, work and private life, people are able to improve and develop their overall knowledge and experience. The main attention of the master paper theses is paid to the teaching requirements of children’s libraries users. Children’s libraries work upon providing children and teenager’s incorporation in lifelong learning and helping children and teenagers to become an educated and useful part of modern society. Information technology specialists and children’s libraries personnel are considered as one of the main actors in teaching of information literacy skills. It was concluded in the research that pupils show willingness to learn information literacy skills and that librarians are able to provide children’s libraries’ services of a high quality.
