Darbā analizētas Rīgas Kr. Valdemāra ielas 18 gaisa monitoringa stacijas HORIBA PM10 koncentrācijas atkarībā no meteoroloģiskiem apstākļiem. Analysis of dependence of PM10 concentrations in Riga from weather conditions. The paper analyzes PM10 concentrations from air monitoring station HORIBA (Riga, Kr. Valdemara Street 18) in dependence from meteorological conditions. In assessing the results of the monitoring PM10 in Riga, it is concluded that the PM10 limit values are exceeded only in the city center canyon-type streets with intense traffic loads. The longest exceedance periods of PM10 average daily concentrations are registered in the Spring months. Shorter periods (1-2 days) are observed in all months of the year, but frequencies of occurrence are not systematic and not correlate with any polluting agent. It is shown that CO concentrations can be used as the criteria of traffic intensity in the analysis of the days, when PM10 concentrations exceeded the daily concentration limit. It is found that humidity affects the measured PM10 concentrations. Conclusion is made that at a time when there is no wind or little wind, high PM10 concentrations can be observed in the streets with intense traffic load.
