Abula upes hidromorfoloģiskās kvalitātes novērtējums pēc makrozoobentosa sabiedrībām

Abstract

Abuls ir ritrāla tipa upe ar straujteču posmiem. Uz upes atrodas piecas mazās hidroelektrostacijas. Darbā ekoloģiskā stāvokļa novērtēšanai pēc makrozoobentosa organismiem tika izmantoti Eiropas Savienībā biežāk izmantotie indeksi – ASPT un DSFI, kā arī Igaunijā izstrādātais MESH indekss hidromorfoloģiskās degradācijas ietekmes novērtēšanai, kas ekoloģisko kvalitāti nosaka pēc zoobentosa. Lai novērtētu hidromorfoloģisko pārveidojumu ietekmi uz makrozoobentosa sabiedrībām, tika izmantots arī makrozoobentosa organismu dalījums pēc to funkcionālajām barošanās grupām un specializācijas substrātam un straumes ātrumam. Pēc iegūtajiem rezultātiem, upes ekoloģiskā kvalitāte ir augstāka tās augštecē un lejtecē, bet vidustecē tās kvalitāti pazemina antropogēnās ietekmes. Mazās hidroelektrostacijas būtiski ietekmē Abula hidromorfoloģisko kvalitāti.

Abuls is a rithral type river with riffles. There are five small hydroelectric power-plants on this river. To assess the ecological condition using macroinvertebrate communities, most popular indicies of European Union were used – ASPT and DSFI, as well as MESH index, which was developed in Estonia to assess hydromorphological degradation. Macroinvertebrate division by functional feeding groups, substrate and current preference were used to estimate the impact of hydromorphological transformations on macroinvertebrate communities. According to the results, the ecological quality in upper part and lower part of the river was high in middle part had lower quality because of anthropogenic influence. Small hydroelectric powerplants have a significant impact on the hydromorphological quality of river Abuls.
