Transnacionālo korporāciju ietekme uz Eiropas Savienības pievienoto vērtību būvniecībā

Abstract

Darbā tiek analizēti transnacionālo korporāciju darbības teorētiskie aspekti un to ietekmes mehānismi ārvalstu tiešo investīciju un starptautiskās tirdzniecības veidā. Tiek pētīta transnacionālo korporāciju loma pasaulē kā arī Eiropas Savienības un būvniecības nozares attīstības tendences. Pētijuma gaitā tiek konstruēts lineārās regresijas modelis. Tā rezultāti liecina, ka būvniecības transnacionālās korporācijas būtiski ietekmē Eiropas Savienības būvniecības nozares pievienoto vērtību, ja transnacionāla korporācija ir pietiekami liela pēc apgrozījumā. Aprēķini rāda, ka apgrozījuma slieksnis, virs kura būvniecības transnacionālā korporācija spēj būtiski ietekmēt Eiropas Savienības būvniecības nozares pievienoto vērtību, atrodas intervālā 15,6 - 18,1 mld. eiro. Atslēgvārdi: transnacionālās korporācijas, ekonomiskā attīstība, ārvalstu tiešās investīcijas, starptautiskā tirdzniecība, būvniecības nozare.The theoretical aspects of the activity of transnational corporations and their influence mechanisms in the form of a foreign direct investment and the international trade are analysed in the paper. The role of transnational corporations and the development trends of European Union and the construction industry are studied. A linear regression model is constructed in the research. The results of the model show that the gross value added of the construction industry is significantly dependent on the largest transnational corporations in the industry. A transnational corporation of the construction industry can have significant influence on the gross value added of the construction industry in European Union if its turnover is above a fixed threshold. The calculation shows that the threshold of a turnover is in the interval 15.6 – 18.1 thousand millions euro.
