Priežu apauguma attīstība dabiskos un drenētos augstajos purvos Latvijā

Abstract

Pētījums veikts, lai uzlabotu izpratni par parastās priedes apauguma attīstības procesu augstajos purvos. Pētījuma mērķis ir telpiski un hronoloģiski raksturot priežu apauguma veidošanos Latvijas drenētos un dabiskos augstajos purvos, kartēt priežu apauguma purvos vainaga biezību, noskaidrot priežu apauguma vecuma struktūras telpisko diferenciāciju un nosusināšanas ietekmi uz priežu apaugumu augstajos purvos. Nosusinātajā Cenas tīrelī un nosusināšanas neskartajā Ances dižpurvā telpiskajā ziņā dominējošā priežu apauguma vecuma klase attīstījusies vienlaikus, 1960.-1980. gados. Abiem purviem kopīgi to varēja sekmēt klimata pārmaiņas un eitrofikācija. Cenas tīrelī nozīmīga ir arī meliorācijas nozīme priežu apauguma attīstības procesā.

The study was performed to enhance the understanding of the Scots pine cover development process in raised bogs. The aim of this paper is to characterize spatially and chronologically the development of Scots pine cover on drained and natural bogs in Latvia, to map the density of pine cover on bogs, ascertain the spatial differentiation of the age structure of pine and the influence of drainage on pine cover development on bogs. In the drained Cena mire and the undrained Ances Dizpurvs mire the development of the spatially dominating pine cover age class occured simultaneously, during 1960-1980. For the both mires together, climate change and eutrophication could have driven the process. In Cena mire, drainage had a significant effect on the development of pine cover.
