„Arābu Pavasara” sociāli ekonomiskā un politiskā analīze Ēģiptē

Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums „Arābu pavasara sociāli- ekonomiskā un politiskā analīze Ēģiptē”. Arābu pavasaris ir protestu vilnis pret pastāvošo režīmu visās arābu valstīs, kas sākās 2011.gadā. Autore pievēršas tā izpētei Ēģiptē. Darba mērķis ir analizēt arābu pavasara sociāli-ekonomiskos un politiskos faktorus Ēģiptē, tai skaitā, korupcijas un dzīves līmeni, vārda un preses brīvību, kā arī citus faktorus, kas veicināja Ēģiptes iedzīvotāju neapmierinātību ar pastāvošo valsts režīmu. Darba rezultātā autore secina, pirmkārt, ka Ēģipte ir korumpēta policejiska valsts, kurā iedzīvotājus soda ar vardarbību. Otrkārt, Ēģiptē nepastāv vārda un preses brīvība. Treškārt, Ēģipte ir hibrīdrežīma valsts, kurā pārsvarā ir autoritārā režīma pazīmes. Ceturtkārt, ēģiptiešu jaunieši cer, ka valstī notiks pozitīvas pārmaiņas.

The title of the bachelor`s thesis deals with Social, Economical and Political Analysis of the Arab Spring in Egypt. The Arab Spring is a protest wave of demonstrations against the regime occurring in the Arab world that began in 2011. The author of this work focused on research in Egypt. The objective of bachelor`s thesis is to analyze socio-economical and political factors of the Arab spring in Egypt, including corruption, standards of living, freedom of press and speech and other factors that contributed to dissatisfaction with the existing regime. As a result author concludes that, firstly, Egypt is corrupted police state where citizens are violently punished. Secondly, freedom of speech and press does not exist in Egypt. Thirdly, Egypt is a hybrid regime state with majority of authoritarian regime features. Fourthly, the youth of Egypt hopes for positive changes in their country.
