Lasīšana skaļi un tās loma fonoloģiskās kompetences attīstīšanā

Abstract

Diplomdarbs izskata lasīšanu skaļi kā instrumentu, kas izmantojams angļu valodas ka svešavalodas apguvēju fonoloģiskās kompetences pilnveidē. Darba mērķis ir pētīt lasīšanas skaļi nozīmīgumu apmācāmo fonoloģiskās kompetences attīstīšanā. Darbā pilietota pētījuma metode ir gadījuma izpēte, jot ā sevī ietver eksperementālo mācīšanu, kvalitatīvo un kvantitatīvo pētījumu. Teoretiskajā daļa ietver informāciju par fonoloģisko kompetenc, suprasegmentālajiem runas elementiem, lasīšanu skaļi un informatīvo lasīšanas skaļi stilu. Darba empiriskā daļa apraksta gadījuma izpētes gaitu, analizē gan eksperimentālās macīšanas rezultātu gan aptajuas iegūtos datus par lasīšanu skaļi kā instrument fonoloģiskās kompetences attīstīšanai iegūtie rezultāti atspoguļoti shēmās un audio ierakstā. The present research paper investigates reading aloud as a tool for developing phonological competence of EFL learners. The aim of the research paper is to find what the role of reading aloud in developing learners’ phonological competence is. The method that is used in the research is a case study as it contains qualitative and quantitative research. The theoretical part of the research includes information about phonological competence, suprasegmental elements of speech, reading aloud, and informational style of reading aloud. The empirical part describes the process and results of pilot teaching on reading aloud and a questionnaire aimed at finding out EFL teachers’ opinion on reading aloud as a tool for developing phonological competence. The results of the pilot teaching process are described and presented in figures and an audio recording.
