Motivācijas loma svešvalodu apguvē

Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „Motivācijas loma svešvalodu apguvē”. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt un identificēt motivāciju svešvalodu apguvē un pētīt faktorus, kas to veicina. Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīta motivācija, analizēti un pētīti tās galvenie aspekti. Darbā ir aprakstīts, cik svarīga ir motivācija svešvalodu apgūšanas procesā. Lai sasniegtu bakalaura darba mērķi, tika izvirzīti šādi uzdevumi: izpētīt attiecīgo literatūru, noteikt motivācijas tipu un faktorus, kuri ietekmē svešvalodu apguvi, kā arī veikt aptaujas. Pētījumā konstatēts, ka motivācijai ir noteicošā loma veiksmīgā svešvalodu apguvē. Lai saglabātu motivāciju mācību procesā, ir jāņem vērā dažādi faktori. Motivācijas trūkums valodas apguvē mazina tās efektivitāti. Bez motivācijas nav iespējams uzlabot svešvalodas prasmes.

The title of the bachelor thesis is “The Role of Motivation in Foreign Language Studies”. The aim of this research is to analyse and identify motivation in foreign language studies and to explore factors which affect it. The bachelor thesis deals with the research of motivation, analysing and exploring the main aspects of this concept. The work focuses on the importance of motivation during foreign language studies. To reach the aim of the bachelor thesis, the following enabling objectives have been proposed: to explore relevant literature, to determine the type of motivation and factors affecting foreign language learning and to conduct the surveys. The thesis proves that motivation has a decisive role in successful foreign language studies. In order to sustain motivation throughout the learning process, many factors have to be taken into consideration. The lack of motivation during foreign language studies makes them less effective. It is impossible to improve foreign language skills without motivation.
