Sabiedrības gleznas. Indivīds, ģimene, dzimums, jaunība un mīlestība Jākoba Mihaēla Reinholda Lenca drāmās „Der Hofmeister” un „Der neue Menoza”

Vācbaltu rakstnieks Jākobs Mihaēls Reinholds Lencs ir viens no nozīmīgākajiem 18. gadsimta Vētras un Dziņu literatūras strāvojuma pārstāvjiem. Diemžēl viņš ir vienmēr palicis Gētes un Šillera ēnā, lai gan viņa literārie sasniegumi ir tik pat ievērības cienīgi kā abu vācu klasiķu darbi. Viņa ieguldījums vācu literatūras vēsturē ir augstu vērtējams un būtu nepareizi viņu atstāt novārtā.
Šajā darbā ir mēģināts aplūkot cilvēka un sabiedrības, kā arī to mijiedarbības lomu Lenca daiļradē. Tieši 18. gadsimts bija jaunās, modernās sabiedrības šūpulis, tāpēc ir interesanti aplūkot kritiku, ar kādu Lencs uzņēma jaunās sabiedrības morāli. Balstoties uz Lenca drāmām Der Hofmeister („Mājskolotājs”) un Der neue Menoza („Jaunais Menoza”), kā arī uz viņa filozofiskajiem rakstiem tiek piedāvāts daļēji antropoloģisks un vēsturisks skatījums uz cilvēka kā sabiedrības locekļa vietu apgaismības laikmetā. Īpaši uzsvērta tiek jaunieša perspektīva, tādējādi izceļot ģimeni, izglītību un laulību kā svarīgākos ‘pieturas punktus’ jauna cilvēka dzīvē. Tiek mēģināts radīt priekšstatu par jaunās sabiedrības un cilvēka lomu tajā, skatoties no jauna rakstnieka - Lenca - perspektīvas. The Baltic German Author Jacob Michael Reinhold Lenz is one of the most important representatives of the literature stream Sturm und Drang in the 18th century. Unfortunately, he has always remained in the shadow of Goethe and Schiller, although his literary achievements are as noticeable as those of the both German classic poets. His contribution to the German literature can be prized and it would be wrong not to appreciate it.
This thesis tries to consider the role of the human and the society as well as their interaction in the writings of Lenz. The 18th century gave birth to a new, modern society. Because of that it is interesting to look at the criticism, with which Lenz viewed the morals of the new society. This thesis offers a picture of man as a member of the society in the Enlightenment from partly anthropological and historical point of view based on the two plays of Lenz: Der Hofmeister and Der neue Menoza, as well as his philosophic writings. Especially highlighted is the perspective of the youth, which is why the family, education and wedding has such great importance. This is a try to create an image of the role of the new society and the human within it from the perspective of a young author- Lenz.
