Publiskās runas uzdevumi angļu valodas mācīšanā

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir analizēt un salīdzināt publiskās runas uzdevumus divās mācību grāmatās. Pirmā grāmata ir “Language Leader Upper Intermediate Coursebook”. Otrā mācību grāmata ir “Success Advanced: Students` Book”.
Bakalaura darbā ir piecas nodaļas par publiskās runas un valodas mācīšanas teorētiskajām nostādnēm, kā arī empīriskā daļa, kurā tiek analizēti pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti. Teorētiskajās nodaļās tiek pētīti runas sagatavošanas posmi un runas struktūra, ķermeņa valodas un neverbālās komunikācijas loma publiskajā runā, visbiežāk lietotie publiskās runas tipi, kā arī informācija par publiskās runas uzdevumos izmantotajām valodas mācīšanas metodēm un paņēmieniem.
Saskaņā ar pētījuma rezultātiem tika noskaidrots, ka publiskās runas uzdevumu veidi, kas atrodami mācību grāmatā “Language Leader Upper Intermediate Coursebook” atšķiras no publiskās runas uzdevumu veidiem mācību grāmatā Success Advanced: Students` Book”. The aim of the bachelor paper is to analyse and compare public speaking tasks in two coursebooks. The first book is “Language Leader Upper Intermediate Coursebook”. The second coursebook is “Success Advanced: Students` Book”.
The bachelor thesis consists of five chapters on the theoretical issues of public speaking and language teaching and a chapter about the empirical research results. Theoretical chapters investigate the stages of preparation of a speech and the structure of a speech, the role of body language and non-verbal communication in public speaking, most common types of public speeches, and information about language teaching methods and techniques that are applied in public speaking tasks.
The results of the research demonstrated that the types of public speaking tasks in “Language Leader Upper Intermediate Coursebook” differ from the types of public speaking tasks in “Success Advanced: Students` Book”.
