Prasmes rīkoties ar vārdnīcu mācīšana un attīstīšana skolā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir Prasmes rīkoties ar vārdnīcu mācīšana un attīstīšana skolā. Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt vārdnīcu attīstību un to veidus, koncentrējoties uz vārdnīcām, kuras domātas angļu valodas apguvei, un iespējām, ko tās piedāvā kā mācīšanas/mācīšanās palīglīdzeklis, kā arī veidus kā attīstīt prasmi rīkoties ar vārdnīcu un šo prasmju nozīmīgumu. Pētījuma ietvaros tika analizēti teorētiskie resursi un darba autore sagatavoja uzdevumus, kuru mērķis ir attīstīt prasmi lietot vārdnīcu. Beigās, balstoties uz analizēto informāciju, tika izdarīti svarīgi secinājumi.

The theme of the Bachelor thesis is Teaching and Developing Dictionary Skills in School. The purpose of the research is to examine the development of dictionaries and their types, with a special focus on English learner’s dictionaries and the possibilities they offer as teaching/learning aids in language studies, the ways of developing dictionary skills and their significance. In the framework of the research theoretical resources were analyzed; the author also developed a set of exercises that were aimed at developing dictionary skills. Eventually, relevant conclusions were drawn based on the analyzed data.
