Visvairāk pārdoto mīlestības romānu nosaukumu analīze

Abstract

Starp dažādajiem literatūras žanriem mīlestības romāns, iespējams, ir vispopulārākais. Nosaukumiem esot kā ‘slieksnim’ starp tekstu un ārpustekstu, mīlestības romānu nosaukumu pētīšana var atklāt to nozīmīgo lomu tajā, kā lasītājs uztver literāro darbu. Tāpēc bakalaura darbs ir veltīts diskusijai par paratekstu un grāmatu nosaukumiem, un tā mērķis ir noskaidrot visbiežāk lietotos vārdus visvairāk pārdoto mīlestības romānu nosaukumos. Šim nolūkam ir izmantota tekstu krājuma kvantitatīvā analīze un salīdzinošā analīze. Pētījums atklāj vairākus semantiskos laukus, kuri norāda uz romāna apakšžanru vai gaisotni vai arī izpauž kādu informāciju par sižetu un varoņiem. Among versatile literary genres, the romance novel is arguably the most popular one. Titles being a threshold between the text and off-text, the study of the titles of romance novels can reveal their significant role in the reader’s perception of the literary work. Thus, the thesis is devoted to the discussion of the paratext and the title and aims at finding the most frequent words in the titles of best-selling romance novels. For this purpose, the corpus-based quantitative analysis and comparative analysis are applied. The research reveals several semantic fields that indicate the subgenre or the tone of the novel or disclose some information about the plot and the characters.
