Ādama un Ievas motīvs 21. gadsimta latviešu prozā un dramaturģijā

Abstract

Vecajā Derībā Ādama un Ievas mīts vēsta par vispārcilvēciskām problēmām, tādēļ šī mīta motīvi tiek plaši izmantoti arī literatūrā. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kāds ir Ādama un Ievas tēls 21. gs. latviešu literatūrā un ko tas liecina par mūsdienu cilvēka savstarpējām attiecībām un attiecībām ar dievu. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, tiek aplūkots mīta jēdziens, skatīts, kāds ir Ādama un Ievas motīvs Bībelē un kā to skaidro reliģijas un literatūras teorētiķi, kā arī, izmantojot salīdzinošo literatūras pētniecības metodi, pētīta Ādama un Ievas motīva recepcija jaunākajā latviešu prozā un dramaturģijā. Tika noskaidrots, ka 21. gs. latviešu literatūrā Ādama un Ievas motīvs tiek plaši un dažādi izmantots, galvenokārt, lai runātu par cilvēku savstarpējām attiecībām, kas pretēji bibliskajām Ādama un Ievas attiecībām piedzīvo krīzi.

The myth of Adam and Eve addresses universal human themes, therefore it is widely used in the literature. This study aims to investigate the image of Adam and Eve in 21st century Latvian literature and find out what does this image suggest about the mutual relationship between the people and their relationship with God. To achieve this goal, the author scrutinizes the concept of myth, examines this myth in the Bible and its explanations given by theorists of religion and literature and, by applying the method of comparative literature, investigates the reception of this motive in the contemporary Latvian literature. It was found that in the 21st century Latvian literature this motive is widely used mainly to address the relationship between people which, unlike the biblical relationship, do experience crisis.
