Abstract
Bakalaura darba galvenais mērķis ir novērtēt sabiedrisko attiecību kampaņu
potenciālu Rīgas domē un noteikt šī potenciāla atbilstību Dž.Gruniga lielisko sabiedrisko
attiecību kritērijiem.
Lai sasniegtu šo mērķi, darba autors atklājis lielisku sabiedrisko attiecību un
to kampaņu raksturīgās iezīmes un salīdzinājis tās ar sabiedrisko
attiecību praksi Rīgas domē. Šim nolūkam autors ir veicis kvalitatīvu pētījumu – intervijas ar
Rīgas domes sabiedrisko attiecību darbiniekiem un žurnālistiem, kas sadarbojas ar Rīgas
domes sabiedriskajām attiecībām.
Autora svarīgākais secinājums ir tāds, ka daudzi sabiedrisko attiecību aspekti
Rīgas domē visumā atbilst sabiedrisko attiecību lieliskuma principiem, taču dažas jomas RD
sabiedriskajās attiecībās vēl tālu no lieliskuma. Autors ir izteicis vairākus priekšlikumus Rīgas
domes sabiedrisko attiecību uzlabošanai un tuvināšanai lielisku sabiedrisko attiecību
kritērijiem.
A main purpose of the research paper „The Potential of the Carrying out of PR Campaigns in the Riga City Council (2009-2010)” is to evaluate the public relations in the Riga City Council according to conception of excellent public relations by J.Grunig. In order to reach the aim the author of the paper has pointed out the theoretical characteristics of the excellent public relations and PR campaigns and compared them with the PR praxis in the Riga City Council. For this purpose the author carried out the qualitative research – an interviewing among the public relations employers in the Rigas City Council and the jornalists colaborating with that employers. The key conclusion of the research is: many of the aspects of the public relations in the Riga City Council fits generally to the PR excellence principles although few areas are rather far from excellence. The author has made out some proposals for making the public relations in Riga City Council better and closer to excellence.
