Nevalstisko organizāciju (NVO) preventīvā sociālā darba atbilstība sociālām problēmām Latvijā

Abstract

Diplomdarba temats ir „Nevalstisko organizāciju (NVO) preventīvā sociālā darba atbilstība sociālām problēmām Latvijā”. Diplomdarba mērķis - pētīt NVO preventīvā sociālā darba atbilstību aktuālām sociālām problēmām Latvijā. Darbs ir strukturēts piecās nodaļās ar deviņām apakšnodaļām. Darba nobeigumā ir rezultāti un diskusija, kas atspoguļo empīriskā pētījuma rezultātus. Diplodarba ietvaros aurores teorētiski analizē jēdzienus „sociālā problēma” un „preventīvais darbs”, pēta NVO kā resursu sociālo problēmu mazināšanā, kā arī pēta Eiropas Savienības un citu fondu prioritātes sociālajā sfērā laika posmā no 2004.gada līdz 2010.gadam. Empīriskais pētījums ietver NVO pārstāvju anketēšanu par to, uz kādām sociālām problēmām ir vērsti viņu preventīvā darba projekti, vai viņi izvērtē problēmu aktualitāti, kā arī par to, kādā veidā tiek izvēlēti projektu mērķi. Anketēšanas laikā iegūto sociālo problēmu saraksta aktualitāti darba autores pārbaudīja ar dokumentu analīzes, statistikas datu un par problēmām veikto pētījumu analīzes palīdzību. Dokumentu analīze ietver sevī Latvijas likumu, MK noteikumu, kā arī dažu starptautisko, Latvijai saistošo, dokumentu analīzi. Sociālo problēmu aktualitātes analīzes laikā darba autores secināja, ka NVO preventīvais darbs atbilst Latvijā aktuālām sociālām problēmām daļēji. The subject of diploma work is „The Corespondance of Preventive Social Work of Non-governmental Organizations (NGO) the Actual Social Problems in Latvia”. An object of diploma paper is to research the corespondance of preventive social work of NGO the actual social problems in Latvia. Work is structured in five chapters with nine subchapters. Conclusion includes results and discussion which discloses results of empiric research. In the diploma work the authors theoretically analyse the concept of “social problem” and „preventive social work”, NGO as social service provider and European Union’s and other foundations’ priorities in social sphere during the period from 2004 to 2010. Empirical research includes NGO representers’ opinion about actual social problems in Latvia, how they are choosing themes for their preventive work, if they are evaluating the actuality of their projects and about the way how they choose the topics of projects. The authors analysed actuality of social problems, which NGO representatives mentioned during the interviews, by using document analysis method, statistics and analysis of other researches about social problems in Latvia. Document analysis consists of laws and other international documents, related to Latvia. The empirical research showed that NGO preventive work is corespondent to Latvian actual social problems only partly. Keywords: social problems, NGO, preventive social work, prevention.
