Latviešu kultūrskripti: Latvijas Republikas Prezidentes un Ministru Prezidenta Jaungadu apsveikuma runu analīze (2004─2007)

Abstract

Darba pētniecības lauks ir latviešu kultūras identitāte. Identitātes pētniecības lielākais izaicinājums ir etnocentrisms, ko šajā pētījumā mēģināts apiet izmantojot A. Viežbickas NSM un kultūrskriptu teorijas. Pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt latviešu kultūras identitātes sastādošos kultūrskriptus, kā arī salīdzināt tos ar vācu, krievu un angļu kultūrskriptiem. Visu šo kultūrskriptu pēdas tiek meklētas Latvijas galveno amatpersonu gadu mijas apsveikuma uzrunās tautai, ar ko tiek noskaidrots, kāda tipa identitāte tiek atbalstīta valstiskā līmenī. Rezultāti sniedz ieskatu latviešu kultūras mijiedarbībai ar krievu, vācu un angļu kultūrām, kā arī tiek izdarīti slēdzieni par šīs mijiedarbības rakstura iemesliem.

The field of study of this paper is Latvian cultural identity. The main challenge of such studies usually is ethnocentricity. Within this paper an attempt has been made to bypass this challenge by using the theories of NSM and cultural scripts, developed by A. Wierzbicka. The goal of this study is to analyse cultural scripts that construct Latvian cultural identity as well as comparing them to English, Russian and German cultural scripts. Traces of all of these scripts are searched for in the New Year allocutions of top officials of Latvia. This clarifies the type of changes of Latvian identity that are favoured on governmental level. The results give an insight of interaction between Latvian, Russian, German and English cultures, as well as conclusions are made about the causes of the nature of these interactions
