Homeopātijas izvēles iemesli

Abstract

Neskatoties uz konvencionālās medicīnas attīstību, populārāka kļūst alternatīvā medicīna, kas saistāma ar pieaugošo risku apzināšanos, ilgām pēc personīgākas pieejas ārstēšanas procesā un citiem iemesliem. Maģistra darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādu iemeslu dēļ medicīnisko pakalpojumu saņēmēji izvēlas izmantot homeopātiju. Datu iegūšanā izmantotas daļēji strukturētas intervijas ar tiem medicīnisko pakalpojuma saņēmējiem, kuri ir un kuri nav izmantojuši homeopātiju, ģimenes ārstiem un homeopātiem. Darba rezultāti norāda, ka homeopātijas izvēle ir intuitīvs lēmums, kurā nodalāma homeopātijas sākotnējā un tās turpmākā izvēle. Despite the development of conventional medicine alternative medicine is becoming more popular, which is associated with the increasing risk awareness, desire for more personal approach to the treatment and other reasons. The aim of the thesis is to find out the reasons why the health service recipients choose homeopathy. To obtain empirical data semi-structured interviews with medical service recipients who have and have not used homeopathy, family physicians and homeopaths are conducted. The results show the choice of homeopathy is intuitive decision where two forms of decision – the initial and subsequent – has to be separated.
