Abstract

Bakalaura darba ”Mītnes zemju ārpolitisko nostāju propaganda CNN, BBC un Al Jazeera ziņu portālos: Ēģiptes sacelšanās analīze” mērķis ir pierādīt, ka šie portāli ziņās par Ēģiptes notikumiem propagandējuši savu valstu ārpolitiskās nostājas. Teorētiskā bāze - propagandas modelis un rāmējumu teorija, to papildina arī globālo mediju, ziņu portālu teorētiskie aspekti. Pētījuma problēma - kā ar propagandas modeli iespējams skaidrot ziņu un fotogrāfiju materiālus, kas pētīti ar rāmējumu, kritiskās diskursa, semiotiskās un kontentanalīzes metodēm. Secināts, ka BBC mazāk, CNN un Al Jazeera portāli izteiktāk ziņās par Ēģiptes sacelšanos propagandējuši savu valstu valdību ārpolitiskās nostājas. Darbs sastāv no trīs daļām – teorijas, metodoloģijas un empīrijas.

The aim of bachelor paper ”The propaganda of home countries’ foreign policy positions in CNN, BBC and Al Jazeera news portals: the analysis of upraising in Egypt” is prove that those portals have propogated their home countries’ foreign policy positions in news about upraising in Egypt. The propaganda model, framing theory are main theoretical base, global media, news portals - complemental aspects. Research problem –how with the model to explain news, photographies analysed with methods of frame, critical discourse, semiotic and content analysis. Conclusion – CNN, Al Jazeera more than BBC have propogated their home countries’ positions in news about upraising in Egypt. The paper consists of three sections – theoretical, methodological and empirical one.
