| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „ Pilsētas un lauku attiecības: Jelgavas gadījuma izpēte”. Šis darbs ir veltīts pilsētas un lauku attiecību izpētei Jelgavas rajonā. Jelgavas rajonā. ir dažādu stratifikāciju teritorijas, tāpēc par pētījuma mērķi tika noteikts izpētīt kā Latvijas apstākļos liela pilsēta ietekmē apkartējo teritoriju attīstību un kā apkārtējo teritoriju attīstība atgriezeniski ietekmē pilsētas attīstību.Teorētiskaja daļā autore , balstoties uz telpiskās attīstības teorijām, izveidot pilsētas un tai pieguļošo teritoriju attiecību analīzes teorētisko modeli.Pēc iztrādatās Jelgavas pilsētas un lauku mijiedarbības metodoloģijas, empīriskajā daļā analizētas 6 ekspertu intervijas. Darba beigās ir apkopoti secinājumi un izteikti priekšlikumi Jelgavas rajonā atrodošo teritoriju attiecību veicināšanai.Pētījuma rezultāti parāda to, ka pilsēta un lauku teritorijas ir atkarīgi viens no otra resursu un pakalpojumu ziņā, uz kā balstās pilsētas un lauku attiecības un mijiedarbība.

| dc.description.abstract | The title of my bachelor thesis is „Urban-rural relations: Case study of Jelgava region”. The goal of my paper is to investigate urban-rural relations in Jelgava region. In Jelgva region there are territories of diferent stratification, therefore the aim of this research is to study mutual impact of city and entry territories in Latvia.The theoretical analysis is based on theories of space. Dureing empirical study were conducted six expert interviews with representatives of local government of Jelgava city and municipalities of Jelgava district.
The final chapter sums up conclusions and includes suggestions to encourage clouser relationship between Jelgava city and nearby municipalities.The results of this research showed that city and entry territoriesare not independent of each other of recources and services and tehe interaction and relations are based on that.
