Vietējā identitāte Viesītes novada iedzīvotāju dzīvesstāstos

Abstract

Maģistra darba temats ir – „Vietējā identitāte Viesītes novada iedzīvotāju dzīvesstāstos.” Viesītes novada vēsture jau agrāk ir pētīta, tomēr nav pievērsta uzmanība tieši mutvārdu vēstures liecībām - novada iedzīvotāju dzīvesstāstiem. Pētījuma mērķis ir sniegt ieskatu Viesītes novada vēsturē no 80. gadiem līdz mūsdienām - 2014.gadam. Kā arī iedzīvotāju dzīvesstāstos, meklēt vietējās identitātes nozīmi, un nododot dzīvesstāstus Viesītes bibliotēkai, lai tie būtu pieejami ikvienam. Kā teorijas tika pielietotas Hermeneitika, Sociālā konstruktīvisma teorija. Darbā tika uzklausīti astoņi Viesītes iedzīvotāju dzīvesstāsti, kuros atklājās piederība dzimtajam novadam, arī dzīvojot un strādājot ārpus Latvijas. Galvenokārt piederības sajūtu veido dzimtā puse, vietējās tradīcijas, ģimene. Atslēgvārdi: Viesītes novads, vietējā identitāte, dzīvesstāsti, mutvārdu vēsture.

The subject of this master’s thesis is - „Local identity in life stories of residents of Viesīte region”. The history of Viesīte region has been previously researched, but there no research – the life stories of people residing in this region. The goal of this research is to provide in the history of Viesītes region the end of the 20th century and nowadays – 2014, and to look for the meaning of local identity in the life stories of the residents. The collected life stories will be shared with the local libraries for easy public access. There used two theories hermeneutics and social constructivism. Eight life stories were collected and examined in the process of this research. A membership to the particular region was revealed despite the fact that many individuals live and work outside Latvia. The key factors regarding this membership appear to be - the native area, it’s local traditions and family. Keywords: Viesīte region, local identity, life stories, oral history.
