Vairas Vīķes-Freibergas semiotizācija „Latvijas Avīzes” karikatūrās

Abstract

Maģistra darbs „Vairas Vīķes-Freibergas semiotizācija Latvijas Avīzes karikatūrās” pievēršas tādam masu komunikācijā maz pētītam vēstījumam kā karikatūra. Satīriskā grafika nekavējoties atsaucas uz aktuāliem politiskās un sabiedriskās dzīves notikumiem, līdz ar to karikatūra ir uzskatāma par savdabīgu politiskā procesa uztveres formu, kas pārspīlējot ziņu saturu, panāk plašāku diskursa interpretāciju un rada blakus nozīmes, kas bieži ir veidotas pārnestā nozīmē. Viens no veidiem, kā rodas pārnesta nozīme, ir metaforu izmantojums, kas rodas jēdzienu saplūšanas rezultātā. Maģistra darba teorētiskajā daļā apvienojot jēdzienu saplūšanas un konceptuālās metaforas teoriju, karikatūra tiek definēta kā metaforisks blends. Darba empīriskā daļa koncentrējas uz Vairas Vīķes-Freibergas atveidojuma semiotisku analīzi karikatūrās, nosaucot pārnestās nozīmes, kas rada jaunas kultūras zināšanas. The following Master paper „Cartooning of Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga in the daily newspaper Latvijas Avīze. Semiotic analysis” deals with that sort of message as cartoon, which has not been widely investigated in mass communication. Satirical graphics immediately allege current political and social life events, wherewith cartoon is considered as an idiomatic conception form of political process, which, while exaggerating the content of the news, catches up with wider discourse interpretation and creates connotations, which often are created in a figurative sense. One of the ways in which the figurative sense originates, is the usage of metaphors, which appear as a result of conceptual blending. In the theoretical part of the following Master paper in the process of combining the theories of conceptual blending and conceptual metaphor, cartoon is defined as a metaphorical blend. The empirical part of the paper concentrates on the semiotic analysis of Vaira Vīķe-Freiberga’s reproduction in cartoons naming the figurative senses, which create new cultural knowledge.
