Darbā apkopota un izvērtēta literatūra par ārstniecības augiem, to ķīmisko sastāvu un labumu uz veselību. Darbā noteikti kopējie fenola daudzumi kā arī noteikta to antiradikālā aktivitāte ārstniecības augos izmantojot spektrofotometrijas metodi. No augiem izdalītas ēteriskās eļļas ar gāzu hromatogrāfijas metodi un tajās identificēti bioloģiski aktīvie savienojumi.

The papaer summarizes and assesses the literature on medical plants, their chemical composition and health benefits. The paper works out common quantity of phenol also their anti-radical activity in medical plants using spectrophotometry.
