Programmatūras testēšana programmizstrādes uzņēmumā

Abstract

Maģistra darbs ir sadalīts divās nodaļās. Maģistra darba pirmajā nodaļā ir izpētīta literatūra par labas pasaules prakses standartiem attiecībā testēšanas pieeju un procesu. Otrajā nodaļā ir aprakstīts testēšanas process uzņēmumā, kurā autore strādā, kā arī ir detalizēti aprakstīti testēšanas posmi un testēšanas veidi uzņēmumā, ka arī testēšanas rīki, kuri tiek izmantoti šajā procesā. Maģistra darba otrajā nodaļā tiek izpētīta defektu reģistrēšana un apstrāde uzņēmumā: tika sagrupēti vissvarīgākie defekti pēc to rašanās cēloņiem, un izanalizēti visbiežāk sastopami defektu cēloņi; tika piedāvāts risinājums, kā uzlabot defektu reģistru; tika piedāvātas defekta reģistrēšanas procesa uzlabošanas iespējas, kā arī paša testēšanas procesa uzlabošanas iespējas.

Master thesis is divided in two chapters. In the first chapter author examines the literature on best practices standards on the testing approach and the testing process; this approach and process are compared with the company's existing testing practices. The second chapter describes the testing process at company in which the author works. This chapter describes in details the testing phases and testing types in company, as well as testing tools that are used in this process. Defects processing and registration mechanism at the company are analyzed in the second chapter of master thesis as well. Defects are grouped and analyzed according severity and defect causes. Author offers a solution to improve the registration of defects and testing process in company.
