Automatizētā programmatūras vienību testēšana ar JUnit

Abstract

Darba galvenā tēma ir automatizētā programmatūras vienību testēšana ar JUnit. Šī darba mērķis ir dot ieskatu par automatizēto vienību testēšanu izmantojot ietvaru JUnit, apskatīt automatizētas vienību testēšanas iespējas, priekšrocības un trūkumus. Darbā aprakstīti paņēmieni, kādā veidā var tikt veikta automatizētā vienību testēšana ar JUnit, tiek doti ieteikumi gan sistēmas, gan testu koda rakstīšanai. Tiek piedāvāti dažādi automatizētās vienību testēšanas paņēmieni un parādīts, kā vienību testēšanas automatizācija dažādās situācijās var atvieglot vienību testēšanu, piemēram, veicot datubāzu aplikāciju testēšanu. The main subject of this paper is automated software unit testing with JUnit. The aim of this paper is to give insight of automated unit testing with JUnit framework, to show JUnit options, advantages and disadvantages. The paper details methods, how automated unti testing can be implemented using JUnit framework, suggestions of writing system and test code are given. Different approaches of automated unit testing and ways, how automation of unit testing in different situations can help us to make unit testing are showed, for example, how database applications could be unit tested.
