Ķūžu ezera ģeoloģiskā attīstība

Abstract

Piese I. „Ķūžu ezera ģeoloģiskā attīstība”. Bakalaura darbs. Rīga, Latvijas Universitāte, Ģeogrāfijas un Zemes zinātņu fakultāte-2009. Bakalaura darba izstrādes gaitā veiktie pētījumi un iegūtie rezultāti sniedz informāciju par paleoveģetācijas raksturu Ķūžu ezera apkārtnē un tā ģeoloģiskās attīstības laikā. Veikto pētījumu (ģeoloģiskās urbšanas, sporu-putekšņu un nogulumu sastāva analīžu) rezultāti atspoguļo organogēno nogulumu attīstību Ķūžu ezerā kopš preboreālā laika līdz mūsdienām un norāda uz ezera līmeņa svārstībām, kā arī organogēno nogulumu uzkrāšanos uz terasēm ap ezeru kopš atlantiskā laika.

Piese I. “Geological development of Ķūzis Lake”. Bachelor work. Riga, University of Latvia, Geography and Earth science faculty-2009. Bachelor work includes field and laboratory investigations with aim to find out the geological development of the lake and character of paleovegetation at Ķūzis Lake locality during that time. Results of investigation (geological coring, pollen and sediment composition analysis) in the frame of the Bachelor work represent sediment development in Ķūzis Lake since the Preboreal Time until nowadays and reflect lake level fluctuations and organogenic sediment accumulation on the lake terraces since the Atlantic Time.
