Holocēna kaļķiežu raksturojums Vaives ielejā Dāvida dzirnavu apkaimē

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā ir apkopoti dati par holocēna saldūdens kaļķainajiem nogulumiem. Dāvida dzirnavu kaļķainie nogulumi izveidojās holocēna subboreālajā periodā. Ir aprakstīti holocēna saldūdens kaļķieži Dāvida dzirnavu apkaimē Vaives upes ielejā. Vaives upes ielejā pie Dāvida dzirnavām holocēna avotu kaļķainie nogulumi pieder nogāžu tipam. Tika izpētīta un apkopota literatūra par saldūdens kaļķiežiem. Ir savākti 25 iežu paraugi, no kuriem ir izgatavoti 8 plānslīpējumi. Tika pielietota kaļķiežu cementēšana. Tika izmantots polarizētas gaismas mikroskops. Dāvida dzirnavu apkaimē kaļķiežu paraugu pētījuma rezultātā tika izdalīti iežu tipi. Pirma tipa stipri saistītie kaļķieži (šūnakmeņi) veidojas nogāzes avota lejtecē. Otra tipa slāņainie saistītie kaļkieži ir maz izplatīti. Treša tipa vāji un mēreni saistītie kaļķieži ar dzelzs hidroksīdu piejaukumu ir vairāk izplatīti nogazē avota augšdaļā.

In bachelor's paper information is generalized about Holocene freshwater limestones deposits. These deposits of limes appeared in Subboreal Time of Holocene. Holocene freshwater limestones deposits in vicinity of Dāvids mill were described. Holocene freshwater limestones in Vaive river valley in vicinity of Dāvids mill belongs to the slope type. Literature was studied and generalized. 25 standards of rocks were collected which 8 thin sections were made from. Cementation of limestone was used. A polarization light microscope was used. As a result of research of standards the types of freshwater limestone were selected in in vicinity of Dāvids mill. Coherent limestones or lime tuff, which appears on a slope in lower reaches, belong to the first type. The second type of deposits of limes consists of of the stratified limestones, that are spread least of all. Poorly and moderately coherent limestones with the admixture of hydroxides of iron belong to the third type of limestones, that are spread in upper part of spring.
