Piederība un nošķirtība Hanifa Kureiši romānā „Priekšpilsētas Buda”

Abstract

Daudzi notikumi civilizācijas vēsturē to nežēlības dēļ mūsdienās liekas šokējoši un neiespējami, viens no šādiem notikumiem ir kolonizācija. Pēc tās beigām sākās post-kolonizācijas periods, laiks, kad kolonizētās sabiedrības mēģināja attīstīt jaunu identitāti. Šis post-kolonizācijas periods vēl joprojām turpinās. Šī pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt piederības un atstumtības jēdzienus Hanifa Kureiši romānā “Priekšpilsētas Buda”. Šajā pētījumā izmantotās metodes ir teorētisko materiālu izpēte un Kureiši romāna analīze. Pētījuma hipotēze, ka piederība un atstumtība Hanifa Kureiši romānā “Priekšpilsētas Buda” ilustrē darba tēmu, tika pierādīta.

Many events in the history of civilization nowadays seem shocking and impossible due to their cruelty; one of them is colonization. After its end, started the post-colonial period, a time when the colonized societies try to develop a new identity. This period still continues. The goal of this research paper was to analyze the dynamics of belonging and exclusion in Hanif Kureishi’s novel “The Buddha of Suburbia”. The methods applied in the present study are: theoretical (a study and analysis of the relevant theory and information) and practical (analysis of the novel). The hypothesis of the paper, namely, the dynamics of belonging and exclusion in Hanif Kureishi’s novel “The Buddha of Suburbia” draws on interpellation of the subject, was proved.
