Augu mītiski maģiskā funkcija latviešu folklorā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba „Augu mītiski maģiskā funkcija latviešu folklorā” ietvaros uzmanība pievērsta tiem augiem, kuru mītiski maģiskās funkcijas atklājas 1) pasaules koka kontekstā; 2) kā cilvēka individuālās telpas un laika izteicējas un organizētājas; 3) tautas dziedniecībā. Darba mērķis ir raksturot galvenās augu funkcijas katrā tematiskajā blokā un sniegt ieskatu par augu nozīmi latviešu klasiskajā folklorā atspoguļotajā mītiskajā pasaules izpratnē. Latviešu folklorā atklājas senā cilvēka izpratne par pasauli, tās uzbūvi un iekārtojumu. Augiem atvēlēta nozīmīga loma šīs pasaules iekārtojuma izveidē un uzturēšanā. Within the framework of the bachelor theses ‘Plants from the Viewpoint of Myth and Magic in Latvian Folklore’ the attention has been drawn to those plants which viewpoint of myth and magic reveals 1) in the context of the world’s tree; 2) as organizers and predicates of human’s individual spatiotemporal; 3) in the healing of folk. The aim of the theses is to describe the main functions of the plants in the each topical unit and provide view about the meaning of the plants in the mythical understanding of the world revealed in the classical Latvian Folklore. Ancient human’s perception of the world, its structure and arrangement expresses in Latvian Folklore. Significant role has been allocated for the plants in the formation and maintenance of this world. Keywords: plants, myth, magic, World’s tree, spatiotemporal, vulnerary plants.
