Elektropalatogrāfijas metode un tās izmantojums latviešu valodas priekšējo mēleņu analīzē

Elektropalatogrāfija ir pasaulē plaši pielietots tehnisks paņēmiens, ko lieto, lai ierakstītu un analizētu mēles un cieto aukslēju saskari atsevišķu fonēmu artikulācijas un saistītas runas laikā. Šī darba ietvaros, izmantojot elektropalatogrammu metodi, tika ierakstīta un pētīta latviešu valodas priekšējo mēleņu artikulācija simetriskā patskaņu [i, a, u] fonētiskajā apkaimē. Iegūtās elektropalatogrammas tika salīdzinātas ar statiskajā palatometrijā iegūtajiem rezultātiem, kurus Alise Laua izmantojusi filoloģijas zinātņu kandidāta grāda iegūšanai disertācijā „Mūsdienu latviešu literārās valodas fonētiski fonoloģiskā sistēma”, un dažu ārzemju literatūrā aprakstīto pētījumu datiem. Pētījuma sākumā uz teorētiskās literatūras analīzes bāzes dots pārskats par statiskās palatogrāfijas un elektropalatogrāfijas vēsturi un lietojumu, kā arī šo metožu salīdzinājums.

In this research the method of electropalatography was used to record and analyze the articulation of the Latvian coronal consonants in the symmetrical phonetic context of vowels [i, a, u]. Electropalatograms obtained in this study were compared with the results of the static palatography used by Alise Laua in her dissertation “The Phonetic Phonological System of Contemporary Latvian Literary Language” and with the data of some investigations found in the scientific literature. In the beginning of this paper the review of the literature about the history and the use of the static palatography and the electropalatography is given, as well as a comparison of these two methods.
