Tulkošanas kļūdas Eiropas parlamenta debašu runās
Zusammenfassung
Maģistra darba mērķis ir aplūkot un izanalizēt kļūdas, kas rodas tulkojot Eiropas Parlamenta debašu runas no angļu valodas latviešu valodā. Pētījums ir aktuāls, jo mutiskās tulkošanas kvalitāte ir subjektīvs jēdziens, ko jāaplūko no dažādiem skatu punktiem, cenšoties nonākt pie tulkojuma, kas apmierinātu dažādas procesā iesaistītās grupas. Darbā tika aplūkota mutiskās tulkošanas jēdziens, galvenās tulkošanas stratēģijas un tipiskākās tulka kļūdas, pieskaroties arī latviešu valodas kļūdām un eirožargona problēmai. Tika izmantota anketēšana, kā arī analizēti 10 Eiropas Parlamenta debašu runu tulkojumi, lai apzinātu nozīmīgākās tulkojumu kļūdas sintaktiskā līmenī un rastu atbildi kā no tām izvairīties.Pētījumā tika atklāts, ka visbiežāk tulkojumos novērojami leksiskā materiāla zudumi, kā arī teksta domas kropļojumi, kas uzskatāmi par nozīmīgām kļūdām. The author has researched and analysed interpreter’s errors in European Parliament debate speeches interpreted from English into Latvian. The theme is worthy of research due to subjectivity in assessing interpreting quality that asks for a multifaceted view on interpeting that would satisfy all the various groups working with interpreted texts. The notion of interpreting was researched, as well as the main interpreting strategies, most common interpreter’s errors, including errors in the production of target text. The paper also touched upon the eurojargon problem in interpreting. A survey was carried out and 10 European Parliament debate speech text interpretations were analysed on syntactic level to find out the most pressing errors committed by the interpreters and to discuss possible solutions of avoiding them.
