Latvijas reālijas literāro tekstu tulkojumos franču valodā

Abstract

Darbā veikts pētījums par Latvijas reālijām un to tulkojumiem franču valodā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt kā tulkotāji saglabā avotvalodas kultūrspecifiku tulkojot reālijas. Darbs sastāv no divām daļām. Teorētikajā daļā tiek pētīts jēdziens „reālija”, to klasifikācijas kā arī tulkošanas stratēģijas. Prakstiskajā daļā tiek analizētas izmantotās stratēģijas Latvijas reāliju tulkošanā franču valodā. Pētījumā secināts, ka lielākā daļa reāliju tulkojumos tiek saglabātas. Tulkotāji izmanto tulkošanas stratēģijas, kuras sekmē reāliju saglabāšanu tulkojumā.

This reserach is about latvian realia and their translations in french. The aim of the researh is to study the way translators reach to preserve the cultural specificity of the source language in the translation of realia. The work consists of two parts. The notion of “realia”, their classifications and translation strategies are studied in the theoretical part. The strategies applied in translation of latvian realia in French are analyzed in the practical part. The results show that the majority of realia are preserved in translation. The translators use translation strategies, in order to preserve the conservation of realia in translation.
