Komunikatīvās kompetences attīstība valodas apguvējiem ar atšķirīgu mācību pieredzi

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir - „Komunikatīvās kompetences attīstība valodas apguvējiem ar atšķirīgu mācību pieredzi”. Darba autore ir izraudzījusies šādu tēmu tāpēc, ka viņa kā angļu valodas skolotāja vēlējās praktiski izmēģināt dažādas interaktīvās metodes komunikatīvās kompetences attīstībai angļu valodas stundās. Angļu valodas nozīme mūsdienās ir nenovērtējama. Tās zināšana ir nepieciešama gan ikdienišķā saskarsmē, gan darbā un akadēmiskajās aprindās, gan starpkultūru attiecībās. Tās nozīme ir augusi, paplašinoties darba, studiju un partnerattiecību veidošanās iespējām ārzemēs. Tāpēc angļu valodas skolotāju uzdevums ir palīdzēt skolēniem apgūt šo valodu un attīstīt tās lietošanas prasmes. Darba autore piekrīt vairāku valodnieku izteiktajai domai, ka svešvalodas apguvē svarīgākais ir komunikatīvās valodas kompetences attīstība. Savā darbā pētījuma autore ir analizējusi teorētisko pamatojumu komunikatīvās valodas kompetences attīstībai valodas apguvējiem ar atšķirīgu mācību pieredzi. Darba autore ir pētījusi dažādas interaktīvās metodes, ko var sekmīgi izmantot skolēnu komunikatīvo prasmju attīstībai, kā arī atšķirīgo mācību pieredzi, kas nenoliedzami ietekmē vidusskolēnu mācību procesu. Bakalaura darba empīriskā izpēte tika veikta Mērsraga vidusskolā laikā no 2006. gada septembra līdz novembrim. Pētījumā pavisam piedalījās 26 skolēni un 2 skolotāji. Darbu var izmantot visi interesenti - gan skolotāji, gan jaunāko kursu angļu valodas studenti.

The theme of the Bachelor Paper is “Communicative Competence Development of Language Learners with Different Learning Experience”. The choice of this theme was determined by a practical need of the author of the present research to try out different interactive methods for the development of communicative language competence in the English language classroom. The role of English language (EL) nowadays is invaluable. Therefore EL teachers should aim to extend learners’ EL proficiency in order to meet their need to use English in certain situations in daily life, for knowledge acquisition, for future workplace needs and possible intercultural contacts. The author of the current research agrees with the majority of authors studied who propose the idea that communicative competence should be the goal of a foreign language teaching. In the current research the author investigates theoretical background for communicative competence development of learners with different language learning experience. The author of the present research investigates different interactive methods which may be used for an effective development of pupils’ communicative skills. At the same time the author examines how different learning experiences influence the learning process of secondary school learners. The empirical research of the bachelor paper was carried out in Mersrags secondary school during the time period from September to November 2006. The research procedure embraced 26 pupils and 2 teachers. The bachelor paper might be of interest for other school teachers and students involved in Modern Language Studies.
