Modernisma vēstījuma stratēģijas F.Skota Ficdžeralda romānā Lieliskais Getsbijs

Abstract

Šis pētījums ir veltīts vienam no izcilākajiem 20. gadsimta amerikāņu romāniem Lielais Getsbijs. Pētījuma mērķis ir aplūkot modernisma stāstījuma tehnikas, to, kā tās atšķiras no citiem esošajiem stāstījuma konceptiem un kā tās izpaužas F. Skota Ficdžeralda romānā Lielais Getsbijs (1925). Romāna analīzē tika secināts, ka modernisma stāstījuma tehnikas radīja jaunu pieeju teksta uztverei, kā arī pasaules attēlojumam. Modernisma stāstījuma tehnikas Lielajā Getsbijā ne tikai liek apšaubīt atainoto notikumu reālistiskumu un stāstītāja uzticamību, bet arī reprezentē atgūšanos pēc traumatiskas pieredzes.

The present research is devoted to one of the greatest American novels of the twentieth century The Great Gatsby. The purpose of the present paper is to distinguish modernist narrative techniques as such, their deviation from the existing narrative concepts and differentiate them in the novel The Great Gatsby (1925) written by F.Scott Fitzgerald. The analysis of the present paper reveals that modernist narrative techniques brought the new approach to the perception of the text and to the representation of the world. Modernist narrative techniques in the novel The Great Gatsby not only undermine the reality of the events and the reliability of the narrator but also represent recreation technique of trauma experience.
