Bakalaura darba temats ir „ Intervija kā žanrs televīzijā: Larry King Live analīze ”. Darba autore Latvijas Universitātes studente - Jeļena Sovcova. Šajā darbā autore mēģināja uzzināt, kā jāveido televīzijas interviju un mēģināja izpētīt Larija Kinga oriģinālo intervēšanas stilu. Darbs sastāv no teorētiskās, metodoloģiskās, empīriskās un secinājuma daļas.
Teorētiskajā daļā autore apskata galvenās televīzijas intervijas veidošanas sastāvdaļas. Metodoloģijas daļā autore izmanto strukturētas četru mediju ekspertu intervijas kā pētīšanas metodi un gadījuma analīzi, kurā izpētīja trīs Kinga programmas. Tāpat, autore izmantoja paša Kinga atziņas par sevi un savu oriģinālo stilu, no viņa grāmatas. Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt, kā jāveido televīzijas intervija un kādus teorijā minētus kritērijus izmanto Larijs Kings intervējot viesus.

The author of the diploma is Jelena Sovcova, the student of Latvian University. The author has tried to learn how to create television interview and tried to explore Larry King original interviewing style. The work consists of theoretical, methodological, empirical and conclusion parts.
In the theoretical part the author examines the key components of making television interviews. In the methodological part the author uses structured interviews of four media experts as a research method and case study, which examined three King programmes. Also, the author used King’s own cognition about himself and his original interviewing style, from his book. The purpose of the analysis was to investigate how to create television interview and which theoretical criteria uses Larry King interviewing guests.
