Bakalaura tēma ir „Bezvēsts pazudušo bērnu tēma laikrakstu „Diena”, „Neatkarīgā Rīta Avīze” un „Latvijas Avīze” dienaskārtībā (2007)”. Darba mērķis ir analizēt un pētīt publikācijas par bezvēsts pazudušo bērnu tēmu minētajos laikrakstos, pievēršot uzmanību tam, cik lielā mērā laikraksti iekļāvuši savā dienaskārtībā attiecīgo tēmu. Publikāciju analīzi autore veikusi, balstoties uz dienaskārtības noteikšanas teoriju un par metodoloģiju izvēloties kontentanalīzi. Pētījuma rezultātā iegūtie dati ļauj salīdzināt katra laikraksta pieeju bezvēsts pazudušo bērnu problēmai, kā arī ļauj izdarīt secinājumus par to, kad šī tēma tiek iekļauta mediju dienaskārtībā un kad ne. Bakalaura darbs sastāv no četrām daļām – no teorētiskās, metodoloģiskās, empīriskās un analītiskās daļas, kas sakārtotas nodaļās un apakšnodaļās. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkota dienaskārtības noteikšanas teorija, kā arī ziņu atlases faktori. metodoloģiskajā daļā tiek aprakstīta pētījuma metodoloģija – kontentanalīze. empīriskajā - daļā tiek aprakstīts pētījums un, izmantojot kontentanalīzi, analizētas publikācijas, bet analītiskajā daļā autore atspoguļo pētījuma rezultātā iegūtos datus un secinājumus, balstoties uz iegūtajām teorētiskajām zināšanām, kas aprakstītas pirmajā daļā. Darbam pievienotajā Pielikumā ievietotas tabulas, kas attiecas uz pētījumu.
Atslēgvārdi: bezvēsts pazuduši bērni; dienaskārtības teorija; ziņu atlases faktori; mediji; kontentanalīze This bachelor thesis is called „The Issue of Missing Children in Agenda of Newspapers „Diena”, „Neatkarīgā Rīta Avīze” and „Latvijas Avīze” (2007).” The target of this thesis is to research and to analyze publications about the issue of missing children in mentioned newspapers, paying attention to what extent do newspapers included this issue in their agenda. The author did the analysis of publications on agenda setting theory basis and choosing content analysis as a methodology. The facts achieved in the research allow comparing each newspaper’s approach to issue of missing children and also allow drawing conclusions about when this issue is included in media agenda and when it isn’t.
Bachelor thesis consists of four parts – theoretical, methodological, empirical and analytical parts which are arranged in chapters and subchapters. The theoretical part deals with agenda setting theory and also describes factors of news selection. The methodological part describes methodology of the research – content analysis. In the empirical part research is described and publications are analyzed using content analysis. In the analytical part basing on the theoretical knowledge described in the first part the author describes facts and conclusions discovered in the research. In added attachments to the bachelor thesis are placed tables concerned to research.
