Sievietes dzimtes tēls atmodas perioda dažādu žanru plakātos (1988 ─ 1991)

Abstract

Bakalaura darba nosaukums ir „Sievietes dzimtes tēls atmodas perioda dažādu žanru plakātos (1988 – 1991)” un izvirzītā hipotēze: atmodas perioda plakātos pausts vēstījums par sievieti kā nacionālās idejas un latviešu tautas atdzimšanas simbolu. Darba mērķis: noskaidrot, kāds sievietes dzimtes tēls tika attēlots atmodas perioda dažādu žanru plakātos, lai izsekotu, kā vizuālajā laukā atklājas sievietes loma nacionālismā un norisinās atteikšanās no padomju laikam raksturīgā dzimtes koncepta, pārejot uz nacionālo. Darbā izmantotā teorētiskā pieeja ir semiotika. Darba ietvaros veikta semiotiskā analīze 30 dažādu žanru plakātiem, nosakot plakātos redzamā konotatīvo un denotatīvo nozīmi. Darbs sastāv no 5 nodaļām un tajās ietvertajām apakšnodaļām. Teorētiskajā daļā aprakstīts apskatāmā laika perioda vēsturiskais fons, raksturots pirmspadomju un atmodas perioda sievietes dzimtes tēls, dzimtes transformācijas nosacījumi pirmsatmodas periodā un sievietes dzimtes loma nacionālismā, aplūkota plakāta loma komunistiskajā iekārtā un nacionālisma periodā, sniegts ieskats semiotikas vēsturē un pamatjēdzienos, aplūkota dažādu autoru pieeja semiotikas pamatproblemātikai, sniegts detalizēts plakātu semiotiskās analīzes paraugs. Praktiskajā daļā veikta atmodas perioda plakātu semiotiskā analīze, nosakot plakātos redzamā konotatīvo un denotatīvo nozīmi, aprakstīti rezultāti un uz tiem balstītie secinājumi, izteikti to iespējamie skaidrojumi. Apkopojot analīzes gaitā iegūto informāciju, autore secina, ka atmodas periodā sievietei galvenokārt ir atvēlēta atbalstītājas, iedvesmotājas loma; viņas pienākums ir radīt, nodrošināt apstākļus, vidi, kurā norisināties ar atmodas periodu saistītajām turpmākajām politiskajām un ekonomiskajām darbībām. Sievietes tēls vizualizēja atmodas perioda centienus, mērķus un sagaidāmos rezultātus, taču gandrīz nemaz neparādās sievietes pašas aktīvā darbībā šo mērķu sasniegšanā. Plakātos redzamā sieviete ietver sevī to parādību un īpašību kopumu, kas veido tā brīža priekšstatu par latviskumu, proti, tādas vērtības kā ģimene, bērni, daba, zemes un lauku darbi, latviešu tautas kultūra un tradīcijas. Tādējādi apstiprinās izvirzītā hipotēze, ka atmodas perioda plakātos pausts vēstījums par sievieti kā nacionālās idejas un latviešu tautas atdzimšanas simbolu. Title of the BA paper is „Feminine image in the various kind of posters of the Awakening period (1988 – 1991)” and the advanced thesis is: in the posters of the Awakening period the message about a woman is put forward as a symbol of the national idea and revival of the Latvian nation. Aim of the paper: to establish what kind of a feminine image was reflected in the various kinds of posters in the Awakening in order to see how in the visual sphere the role of a woman was revealed in the nationalism and how the waiver of the soviet concept of gender took place through transition to the national one. The theoretical approach used in the paper is semiotics. Semiotic analysis of 30 different kind of posters was carried out in the paper by defying connotational and detonational meaning in the posters. The paper consists of 5 chapters and incorporated subchapters. The theoretical part deals with the historical background of the period under analysis, characterizes the feminine image in the pre-soviet and Awakening periods as well as preconditions for the gender transformation in the pre-Awakening period and the role of the feminine gender in the nationalism; deals with the role of posters in the communism regime and the period of nationalism, gives insight into the history of semiotics and its basic concepts, discusses approaches of different authors to the basic problem of semiotics, presents a sample detailed semiotic analysis of posters. The practical part carries out semiotic analysis of the Awakening period posters by defying connotational and denotational meanings in the posters, describes results and the following conclusions and gives their possible explanations. By summarizing information obtained through analysis, the author concludes that generally in the Awakening period a woman is described as a supporter, inspirer; her duty is to create, ensure circumstances, environment where the future political and economic activities of the Awakening period would take place. The feminine image visualizes cravings, aims and expected results of the Awakening period, however almost no woman is reflected in action to attain these aims. The woman reflected in the posters comprises a range of those phenomena and features that at that period created image of being Latvian, namely – values like family, children, land and agricultural work, nature, Latvian culture and traditions. Therefore the advanced thesis is confirmed that the posters of the Awakening period show about women a message as a symbol of the national idea and revival of the Latvian nation. Attachment to the paper contains a table of the semiotic analysis of the posters and posters analized in the paper.
