The extraction of arsenic, chromium and copper from impregnated wood has been performed by using formic acid solutions with different concentrations. The content of arsenic, chromium and copper have been determined in CCA type preservative, impregnated wood, extraction and washing solutions and wood after extraction has been determined. The content of arsenic has been determined by UV-visible spectrophotometry using silver diethyldithiocarbamate and flame atomic absorbtion spectrophotometry, the content of chromium has been determined by UV-visible spectrophotometry using diphenylcarbazide and flame atomic absorbtion spectrophotometry, the content of copper has been determined by flame atomic absorbtion spectrophotometry.en_US
