| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darba pirmajā daļā tiek plaši apskatītas ciparu televīzijas video un audio spiešanas metodes, standarti un algoritmi, iepazīstināts ar apraides principiem un sniegts skatījums uz nākotni. Otrajā daļā veicu eksperimentus ar dažādām populārām video spiešanas programmām, izveidotos video analizēju video analīzes programmā MSU, sniedzu secinājumus par programmu un spiesto video efektivitāti. Ar iekārtas DTU-235-RSX palīdzību analizēju un salīdzināju reālo datu pārraides plūsmu Baltkom un Lattelecom piedāvātajiem pakalpojumiem gala lietotājam. Pēc praktiskā darba veikšanas guvu daudz atziņas un secinājumus, sniedzu ieteikumus par efektīvāko video spiešanas metodi gan video un TV pārraižu ierakstu saglabāšanas vajadzībām, gan Latvijas televīzijas efektīvākai darbībai. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | In the first part of this thesis, digital video and audio compression systems, standards and algorithms are described. Also broadcast principles are introduced and given a view about future development opportunities. The second part contains the description and the results of compression experiments which were done using various compression programs. The resulting videos were analysed with analytical program MSU. Based on that, conclusions about compressed video efficiency were made. Using the device DTU-235-RSX, data transport stream to the end user was analyzed and compared between two service providers Baltkom and Lattelecom. Consequently, the suggestions were made about the most efficient method of video and TV program recording saving. Also improvements of the efficiency and quality of Latvian television were inspected. | en_US |
