Abstract
Šis bakalaura darbs ir izstrādāts, lai teorētiski izpētītu, kādas metodes iespējams pielietot, lai veiktu attēlu meklēšanu pēc formas, un lai praktiski aplūkotu pašreiz brīvi pieejamās uz saturu balstītās attēlu izguves programmatūras iespējas, kas saistītas ar meklēšanu pēc formas. Šajā darbā aprakstīti arī līdzības un veiktspējas mēri, ar kuru palīdzību iespējams noskaidrot konkrētas attēlu izguves programmatūras precizitāti un veiktspēju.

This thesis has been developed to investigate the methods that can be used for image search by shape in theory, and to explore practically what are the options of content-based image retrieval software that is related to the search by shape. This work also describes the similarity and performance measures, which are capable to clarify the accuracy and performance of a specific image retrieval software.
