Latvijas darbaspēka migrācija un integrācija Lielbritānijas darba tirgū

Abstract

Maģistra darba autore – Baiba Martuzāne. Maģistra darba tēma ir „Latvijas darbaspēka migrācija un integrācija Lielbritānijas darba tirgū”. Viens no centrālajiem migrācijas pētniecības jautājumiem saistīts ar darbaspēka migrāciju un to integrāciju uzņēmējvalstu darba tirgos. Maģistra darba mērķis ir, balstoties uz Latvijas darbspējas vecuma emigrantu migrācijas faktoru un ar darba tirgus integrāciju saistīto aspektu analīzi, izstrādāt priekšlikumus Latvijas darbspējas vecuma iedzīvotāju reemigrācijas politikas pilnveidošanai. Pētījuma rezultātā konstatēts, ka galvenie migrācijas cēloņiem ir ekonomisks raksturs, kas saistīts ar darba iespējām, ekonomiskajām problēmām u.c. Kā arī Latvijas darbspējas vecuma iedzīvotāji ir integrējušies Lielbritānijas darba tirgū, strādājot galvenokārt mazkvalificētās profesijās un nozarēs. The author of the master’s thesis is Baiba Martuzāne. The title of the master’s thesis is ”Latvian Labour Force Migration and Integration in Great Britain’s Labour Market”. One of the central issues of the research of migration related to the migration of the labour force and its integration into the labour markets of the host nation. The objective of the master’s thesis is to develop proposals for the Latvian working-age emigrants’ improvement of the return migration policy, building on the Latvian working-age emigrants’ factors of migration and the aspect analysis of the integration of the labour market. The results of the research reveal that the main causes of the migration have an economic nature, which relate to the employment, economic problems etc. Moreover, Latvian working-age inhabitants integrated into the labour market of the Great Britain, mainly working in low-skilled occupations and sectors.
