Ziemeļu Padomes un Ziemeļu Ministru Padomes kā starptautisku organizāciju loma Ziemeļu reģionā

Abstract

Maģistra darbā autore apskata aktuālu problemātiku – Ziemeļu padomes un Ziemeļu Ministru padomes kā starptautisku organizāciju lomu Ziemeļu reģionā. Darbā autore ilustrē Ziemeļvalstu sadarbību kā paraugu tam, kā mazas valstis, apvienojot savus resursus var veicināt reģiona konkurētspēju un izaugsmi. Darbā autore sniedz teorētisku pamatojumu starptautisku organizāciju darbībai, raksturo to mērķus, funkcijas un lomu. Darba problemātikas atklāšanai autore piedāvā gan Ziemeļvalstu socioekonomisko, gan Ziemeļvalstu integrācijas gaitas analīzi un raksturo šo organizāciju institucionālo ietvaru, mērķus un lomu, kā arī reformas, kas veiktas organizācijās 1990. gadu sākumā. Darbā tiek apskatīti nozīmīgākie Ziemeļvalstu integrācijas aspekti. Teorētiskās un analītiskās daļas tiek papildinātas ar autores secinājumiem un priekšlikumiem.-

The current master paper analyses the role of the Nordic council and Nordic Council of Ministers as international organizations for insuring stability in the Nordic region. In the paper different theoretical approaches for defining an international organization are provided, including goals, functions and their role in the international system. In the centre of the research paper are Nordic cooperation organizations and in order to understand how they function, author provides both the Nordic socioeconomic characteristic and overview of the Nordic integration over the last sixty years. Author also analyses the most important aspects of the Nordic integration and decisions made by the Nordic cooperation institutions. The theoretical and analytical parts are supplemented with a number of conclusions and proposals. -
