Mērķis: izpētīt zema moduļa mīksto silikona hidrogēla KL ietekmi uz bezkontakta tonometrijas mērījumu rezultātiem. Metodika: IOS mērīts ar „Keeler” PulsAir 14 subj. (22 acīm) Pielaiko mīkstās Si-Hi KL Biofinity ar dažādiem stiprumiem. Reģistrē IOS ar KL in situ. Secinājumi: 1.Zema moduļa (0,75 MPa) negatīvas Si-Hi KL vidēji
izlasei rada negatīvu ΔIOS, bet pozitīvas KL - pozitīvu ΔIOS vērtību. 2. Aim: to investigate how low modulus soft CL influence results of non-contact tonometry. Methods: Keeler PulsAir was used to measure IOP for 14 subjects. Eyes were fitted with soft Si-Hi CL Biofinity with different optic power and IOP was re-evaluated.
Results:1. In general negative power CL with low modulus (0.075 MPa) shows underestimated value of IOP, positive power CL – overestimates IOP.
2. Noncontact tonometry through CL shows sufficient accuracy for low negative power contact lenses (≤2.0 D). 3. It has been shown that base IOP has stat.signif. influence on ΔIOP. The higher the IOS, the greates chance it has on underestimating IOP reading taken throug CL. 4. Since the reading of IOP value throug soft CL can be influences by physical properties of the CL and by base IOP of the subject it is advised that IOP measurements through soft CL should be performed only for screening purposes. corect fit of the lense and its physical properties must be konown to interprite IPO vaue measured through soft CL
