IDM ieviešana datortīklos

Abstract

Darbā ir aprakstīta praktiska ProCurve IDM sistēmas ieviešana esošā uzņēmuma datortīklā. ProCurve IDM ir jauna, kompānijas Hewlett-Packard ProCurve izstrādāta sistēma, kas paredzēta automātiskai komutatoru un maršrutizatoru konfigurēšanai lietotāju autentifikācijas laikā. Šī sistēma palīdz novērst problēmas, kas rodas, paplašinot datortīklus un to lietotājiem kļūstot mobilākiem. Tāpat darbā ir aprakstīti nepieciešamie pasākumi tīkla ierīču konfigurācijai. Darba gaitā ProCurve IDM sistēma tika sekmīgi ieviesta un testēta vidēji liela uzņēmuma datortīklā, tika apzinātas iespējamās problēmas un nākotnes perspektīvas.

The paper examines the practical implementation of the ProCurve IDM system in an working companies computer network. The ProCurve IDM system is a new, by the company Hewlett-Packard ProCurve developed system, which is foreseen for a dynamic configuration of switch and router by using user’s authentification. This system helps to prevent problems, which occur by widening computer-nets and by its users getting more mobile. The paper also examines the needed actions for the configuration of the net devices. In the working process the ProCurve system was successfully implemented and tested in a medium-size companies computer-net, the potential problems and future perspectives were identified.
