Krāsas un atmosfēra Edgara Alana Po dzejā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir krāsas un noskaņa Edgar Allana Po dzejā. Pētījuma uzdevums ir noteikt biežāk lietojamos tēlainās izteiksmes līdzekļus un krāsas Edgara Po dzejā, turklāt identificēt gaisotni un noskaņu šajos darbos. Darba autore ir veikusi pētījumu balstoties uz praktiskām un teorētiskām zināšanām.

Teorētiskā daļa iztirzā tāda veida problēmas kā: tēlainās izteiksmes līdzekļu būtību, simbolu un simbolsisko krāsu izmantošana literatūrā, ka arī to nozīmi Edgara Allana Po dzejā, un citas radošajās aktivitātēs.

Praktiskajā daļā autore analizē Edgara Po dzeju un piedāvā izskaidrojumus par noteiktu krāsu un citu tēlainās izteiksmes līdzekļu pielietojumu.

The subject of the present paper is the colours and atmosphere in Edgar Allan Poe poems. The goal of the study is to define the most frequent used imagery and colours in ten poems of Edgar Allan Poe, furthermore to indentify the atmosphere and mood of the poems. The author of the present paper has performed research which consists of two parts: practical and theoretical parts.

The theoretical part involves discussion of such problems as: the essence and importance of imagery, the use of symbols and symbolic meaning of colours in literature, besides there is an overview of the life and creative activity of Edgar Allan Poe.

In the practical part the author of the paper performs the analysis of Edgar Poe’s poems and offers the possible explanation of the use of definite colours and imagery in his poems.
