Būvniecības nozares specializēto tekstu tulkošanas problēmas

Abstract

Šā darba tēma ir Būvniecības nozares specializēto tekstu tulkošanas problēmas pamatojoties uz tulkotajām nodaļām par pildrežģa būvi no Heinriha Stīva (Heinrich Stiewe) grāmatas „Fachwerkhäuser in Deutschland“. Interesi par šo tēmu izraisīja pārpratumi un neskaidrie jautājumi, kas parasti rodas tulkojot specializētos tekstus no vācu valodas latviešu valodā, kuru specifiskajai valodai – terminoloģijai un apzīmējumiem - grūti atrast piemērotu terminu vai tā izskaidrojumu mērķa valodā. Tāpēc raksturīgākās specializēto nozares tekstu pazīmes, kā arī nepieciešamās zināšanas šādu tekstu tulkošanai ir raksturotas, balstoties uz piemēriem no autores tulkotā teksta. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, ko īsti nozīmē specifisku tekstu tulkošana, kā arī to, kādas ir visbiežāk sastopamās pazīmes un problēmas tulkojot tekstus par pildrežģa būvi. Darbs sastāv no divām pamat nodaļām un vairākiem apakšpunktiem, kur aplūkoti šādi jautājumi: 1)specializēto nozares tekstu tulkošanas raksturojums; šī nodaļa un tās apakšpunkti sniedz informāciju par to, kādas atšķirības ir starp kopīgo tautas valodu un nozares terminu leksiku, kādas zināšanas un kāpēc ir nepieciešamas tulkotājam tulkojot specifiskus nozares tekstus, kā arī raksturo vārda „termins“ nozīmi latviešu un vācu valodā un terminoloģijas pārzināšanas svarīgumu; 2)problēmas un pazīmes, tulkojot atsevišķas nodaļas par pildrežģa būvi no Heinriha Stīva (Heinrich Stiewe) grāmatas „Fachwerkhäuser in Deutschland“; šajā nodaļā un tās apakšpunktos galvenokārt minētas un raksturotas tās pazīmes un problēmas, ar kurām autore sastapās tulkojot augstāk minēto tekstu. Darba pielikumā var apskatīt autores tulkotā teksta oriģinālu un tā tulkojumu latviešu valodā. Šis darbs paredzēts tulkotājiem, kuri nodarbojas ar šādu tekstu tulkošanu un ir saskārušies ar līdzīgām problēmām, speciālistiem, kuri tikai nesen sākuši nodarboties ar pildrežģa būvi Latvijā, tas noderētu par vērtīgu informācijas avotu, kas atvieglotu viņu darbu, tas paredzēts arī studentiem (tulkotājiem), kuri interesējas par tekstiem, kas saistīti ar pildrežģa būvēšanu.

The theme of this bachelor paper is Translation difficulties with technical texts – building (filled framework building). Interest about this theme made difficulties and unclear questions which appear when you translate technical texts form German into Latvian, because it is not so easy to find the right term or its explanation in the target language. That is why all the characteristic traits and necessary knowledge of technical texts are described to repose on authors translated text. The aim of this bachelor paper is to find out what translation of technical texts means as well as which are the most typical difficulties, when you translate texts about filled framework building. This work consists of two main chapters and several subparagraphs which characterize following questions: 1)charakterization of technical text translation; this chapter and its subparagraphs gives you information about differences between vulgar tongue (everyday speech) and term lexicon, as well as what kind of knowledge the translator needs for technical text translation; it gives the meaning of word “term” in Latvian and German and charakterizes the importance of terminology competence; 2)difficulties and traits which appeared by translating separate chapters from Heinrich Stiewe book “Fachwerkhäuser in Deutschland”. In appendix you can see the text which the author has translated in its original and its translation in Latvian. This work is devised for translators who are occupied with technical text translation and who have faced similar problems, for experts who recently have started to work with filled framework building in Latvia, for them this work could serve for information source, it is also devised for students (translators) who are interested in texts about filled framework building.
