Šajā darbā tiek pētīti līdzekļi, kā vislabāk attīstīt pieaugušo neverbālās saziņas prasmes, uzstājoties auditorijas priekšā. Zinātniskā darba mērķis ir pierādīt, cik svarīgi uzstāšanās laikā izmantot atbilstošu ķermeņa valodu. Teorētiskajā daļā aplūkota uzstāšanās neverbālo aspektu loma un nozīme un iztirzātas problēmas, ar kādām jāsaskaras, lai uzstāšanās laikā panāktu līdzsvaru starp verbālo un neverbālo vēstījumu. Teorija ir saistīta ar praksi, novērojot un analizējot biznesa prezentācijas un galveno uzmanību pievēršot runātāju neverbālajai uzvedībai. Secinājumi ir balstīti uz novērojumiem un aptauju, kas izmantotais pētniecības datu apkopošanai. Šā darba rezultātus un secinājumus var izmantot praksē, lai padarītu uzstāšanās procesu iedarbīgāku.

The present paper investigates the best means of developing adult nonverbal communication skills while presenting in front of an audience. The research paper aims at proving the importance of acquiring coherent body language during the presentations. The theoretical part deals with the role and aims of the nonverbal aspect of the presentation and discusses the problems of achieving balance between verbal and nonverbal communication messages when performing. It relates theory to practice by observing and analyzing business presentations, focusing on the speakers’ nonverbal behaviour. The conclusions drawn are based on observation and questionnaires, used as a means of gathering research data. The results and conclusions of this study can be applied in practice in order to make the presentation process more effective.
