Abstract

Šis bakalaura darbs „Skats uz baroka kultūru no 20. gadsimta skatpunkta Rozas Trimeinas romānā „Mūzika un klusums”” koncentrējas uz baroka kultūras attēlojumu Trimeinas romānā, ka arī atspoguļo noteiktu postmodernisma ideju ietekmi uz šo baroka kultūras attēlojumu. Darba mērķis ir apskatīt dažu baroka kultūras raksturīgo pazīmju attēlojumu Rozas Trimeinas romānā „Mūzika un klusums.” Darba hipotēze ir parādīt, ka romāns „Mūzika un klusums” atklāj noteiktas līdzības starp baroka un postmodernisma kultūrām. Galvenie secinājumi parāda, ka šis romāns atspoguļo noteiktas raksturīgas pazīmes, kas ir kopīgas baroka un postmodernisma kultūrām: tajos ir ļoti daudz pretstatu. Turklāt gan baroka mākslinieki, gan postmodernisti pievērš uzmanību iztēles lomai cilvēku dzīvē. The goal of the thesis is to examine the representation of some of the characteristics of Baroque culture in Rose Tremain’s novel ‘Music & Silence.’ The hypothesis of the thesis is to demonstrate that the novel ‘Music & Silence’ reveals certain similarities between Baroque and Postmodernist cultures. The main conclusions indicate that the novel reveals certain features that Baroque and Postmodernist cultures have in common: they are full of opposites.
